We've added full reviews for three operators, expanding our ranking from five to eight casinos: Betway, a globally recognized sportsbook-and-casino brand; Tonybet, notable for a genuinely strong dedicated poker room rather than a casino-first focus; and Fire Vegas, a newer Curaçao-licensed brand with a fast-growing slots catalogue. Each went through the same testing described in our methodology — a real deposit, a real withdrawal request, and a live-chat conversation in French — before earning a spot.

Betway carries the longest global track record of the three, launched in 2006 — its strength here is a combined sportsbook-and-casino account, and the site Quebec players actually use runs under a Malta Gaming Authority licence, entirely separate from Betway's AGCO-regulated Ontario product. Tonybet, founded in 2008 by a professional poker player, stood out in testing for a dedicated poker room most casino-first brands don't bother building properly — and like Royal Vegas and Spin Casino, it's Kahnawake-licensed for the site we reviewed. Fire Vegas is the newest of the three, launched in 2021 under a Curaçao Gaming Control Board licence, and earned its spot on a genuinely fast-growing slots catalogue rather than a long regulatory history — the kind of newer operator worth a slightly more cautious first deposit while it builds that track record.

That's also why this expansion took longer than a simple sign-up-and-publish process would have — testing three operators properly isn't something we do in an afternoon.
Why testing three operators took longer than a single addition would
Adding one new operator to an existing ranking is a contained task — a deposit, a withdrawal test, a support conversation, a game-library check. Adding three at once meant running that full sequence independently for each brand, since a shortcut like assuming similar support quality across brands with a shared corporate history (Royal Vegas and Spin Casino, for instance) isn't something we do even when two operators look related on paper. Betway, Tonybet, and Fire Vegas have no corporate relationship to each other or to the original five, so each one went through the complete process on its own timeline.
What didn't change in the process
The scoring rubric itself — licence quality, payout speed, Interac handling, French-language support, game library — is identical to what the original five casinos were scored against when this site launched; adding new entries doesn't mean quietly loosening or tightening the bar to fit whichever casino is being evaluated next. Does adding new casinos change the top-ranked picks?
No. JackpotCity, Royal Vegas, and Spin Casino keep their positions at the top of our ranking — these three additions expanded the list rather than displacing anyone already on it.
Are Betway and Tonybet actually available to Quebec players?
Yes — both run a site for Quebec and other ROC players entirely separate from their Ontario product: Betway's is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, and Tonybet's by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. Ontario's AGCO-regulated version of each brand is a different site under a different licence, and isn't what we review here.
