Our ranking now covers nine rest-of-Canada casinos
We rebuilt the ranking around casinos that serve players outside Ontario and Alberta, and every review now says plainly where its figures come from.
What's new
Our ranking now covers nine casinos: Blitz-Bet, Dragonslots, Ice Casino, Granawin, Casumo, Wildz, Betrise, WildFortune and 20bet. Each has a full review in English and in French, a place in the bonus comparison and a Quebec-specific look at licence, payment methods and withdrawal terms. Two new head-to-head pages compare Blitz-Bet with Dragonslots and Granawin with 20bet. Each review lists the licence number and licence holder the operator publishes, the welcome offer with its wagering and validity, the withdrawal limits, and the payment methods, so you can compare the terms rather than the headline figure.
The new ranking
The licences behind the nine casinos differ, and that difference drives the licence score on each review. Blitz-Bet (Anjouan Gaming Board), Dragonslots (Curaçao Gaming Control Board), Ice Casino (Curaçao Gaming Control Board), Granawin (Kahnawake Gaming Commission), Casumo (Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner), Wildz (Malta Gaming Authority), Betrise (Anjouan Gaming Board), WildFortune (Anjouan Gaming Board), 20bet (Kahnawake Gaming Commission). The welcome offers range from 100% up to C$500 + 120 Free Spins at 20bet to Up to C$6,400 + 410 Free Spins at Blitz-Bet, and the minimum deposits run from C$30, C$15, C$10, C$30, C$10, C$10, C$10, C$15, C$15, in ranking order. Withdrawal speeds are listed as 1-3 days, Up to 3 days, 1-3 days, 1-3 days, 1-5 days, 1-3 days, Up to 3 days, 1-3 days, Instant (Interac), again in ranking order. Each of these figures comes from the operator's published terms and can change, so every review page carries the date it was last checked.
How we reviewed them
Every review rests on the operator's own published terms and licence details, our research files and independent public reviews. We have not opened accounts at these casinos or timed a withdrawal, and each review page says that. Where public sources disagree, for example on whether a casino offers French-language service, we scored cautiously and said so. The score on every review is the mean of the same five criteria, while the order of the list is our editorial selection for rest-of-Canada players.
Ontario and Alberta
Ontario and Alberta each run their own regulated markets, and the offers on this site are not available to residents of either province. The casinos we cover here serve the rest of Canada, including Quebec, and none of them is licensed by a Canadian province. See our legal explainer for what that means for Quebec players.
Frequently asked
Why did the ranking change?
We rebuilt it around casinos that serve players in the rest of Canada, outside Ontario and Alberta, which run their own regulated markets. The offers on this site are not available to residents of Ontario or Alberta.
What happened to the earlier reviews?
The eight earlier reviews and the two head-to-head pages were retired, and their old addresses now redirect to the current ranking and the new comparison pages, so no bookmark or link breaks.
Did you test these casinos yourselves?
No. These reviews are built from each operator's published terms and licence details, our research files and independent public reviews. We have not opened accounts or timed withdrawals, and each review says so. Confirm every figure on the operator's site before you deposit.
Why does the order differ from the scores?
The order is our editorial selection for rest-of-Canada players and takes commercial availability into account. The score on each review is the mean of five measured criteria, so the two can differ. The methodology page explains how each criterion is scored.
